- DO NOT TOUCH OR PLAY WITH YOUR PIERCING UNLESS YOU
ARE CLEANING IT. Thoroughly wash hands with Antibacterial
soap before Touching Jewelry.
- Dirty Cloths, Hair and Make-Up products should be kept
off and away from the Piercing at all times.
- DO NOT wear tight fitting cloths over your piercing,
Especially with Navel Piercing.
- Staying healthy and getting good sleep will help your
body heal faster. Vitamins such as Zinc and Vitamin C
are helpful in healing.
- DO NOT USE Rubbing Alcohol, Peroxide or Antibiotic Ointments
on your Piercing. With Genital Piercing avoid unprotected
sex and oral sex, especially for the first few weeks.
- During healing you should avoid hot tubs and public
pools. Although salt water and chlorine can help healing,
the bacteria and pollution in the water does not.
- If your jewelry has threaded balls, you should occasionally
check them to make sure they are tight.
